Creators Gather is a weekly meeting of community members, taking place on the Creators Float Discord Server. If you’d like to hear what the community is up to, participate in decision making, or meet some great artists to collaborate with, consider filling our our Creators Float Discord Application.
After our first successful gathering and positive support from the community we’re happy to announce the commencement of our weekly ‘Creators Gather’ meetings hosted on our Discord Server in the #meetings voice room. This meetings will take place on Sundays at 21:00 UTC (5pm Eastern), and will be open to all server members.
These meetings will:
- Serve as a space for getting to know other DAO members
- Cover any “business” items for the DAO (our first meeting featured a decision to decide on the shading of our new logo by quadratic voting)
- Utilize the #breakout-room and other auxiliary meeting rooms to facilitate collaboration
- Have the weekly agenda posted in the #meeting-chat text channel
To kick off this wonderful adventure, we are excited to announce our first community host: Ki-Zenn Wheeler.
Ki-Zenn is a multi instrumental musician currently living in Chicago. He is on the artist’s journey and his story is inspirational. From voluntarily living on the streets of Los Angeles to busking the streets of Chicago, Ki-Zenn is a powerful identity and is only just getting started.
We will also be revealing results for the first ever community vote: our Discord Logo! Created by our very own and very talented, Nate!
This meeting is taking place on June 20th, 2021, but if you’re reading this in the future check out our public events calendar to see what’s on deck next Sunday.
